Our Compost and Soil

Everything starts with what we raise. Our compost is produced from cattle manure sourced directly from our 5,500-head feedlot in Triplett, Missouri, backed by decades of hands-on farming and a process we know works.

After cattle are sent to market, each pen is cleaned, and the manure is carefully windrowed and composted for a minimum of 12 months. This extended curing process allows the material to fully stabilize, breaking down into a rich, uniform soil that’s dark, moist, and odor-free. The result is a clean, dependable compost. Not raw waste, but a finished growing medium.

To ensure consistency, our compost is screened through a ¾-inch system, removing debris and creating a smooth, workable texture that’s easy to handle in any application, from gardens to large-scale farms.

What it does for your soil

Our "Wholly Cow" All Natural Compost adds organic matter and beneficial microbial life that help improve overall soil health. It builds better soil structure, increases water-holding capacity, and supports more efficient nutrient uptake.

The result is stronger root systems, more resilient plants, and more consistent growth across a wide range of applications, from gardens and raised beds to full-scale agricultural use.

NO trash. NO fillers. NO additives. Just PURE Mother Nature.

Just fully cured, nutrient-dense compost made from real agricultural inputs and handled the right way from start to finish. Better soil doesn’t come from cutting corners; it comes from doing it right.

What we Offer & How to Use It

Bovine Manure Compost

Professionally composted and cured for a minimum of 12 months, this material is fully stabilized and ready for use. It’s rich in organic matter and beneficial microbes that support long-term soil health, improve moisture retention, and strengthen overall soil structure. Screened for consistency, it works well as both a base and an amendment across a wide range of applications.

Enriched Planting Soil

Our signature 'Composted Gold' planting mix, built from local topsoil and natural manure-based fertilizers. Screened for a consistent texture, it provides a balanced, ready-to-use foundation with the structure, drainage, and nutrient availability needed for strong plant establishment. Ideal for gardens, raised beds, and container planting without the need for additional blending.

Swine Liquid Manure

Sourced from our hog barns, this product is filtered and refined for use in liquid application systems. Packed with essential nutrients, it’s ready for hydroponic setups, misters, and field injection. Designed to provide a consistent, easy-to-use solution, it helps support strong roots, healthy growth, and overall plant performance.

Suggested Mixes

Numerous growers and gardeners plant directly into our nutrient-rich compost. To lighten the compost soil, a mix of perlite, peat, and fiber can be added to fit your growing needs. Try our ground cornstalk for fiber or lining pots!

Ground Cornstalk Additive

A readily available, local fiber source, we’re currently testing ground cornstalks as a fiber component in soil mixes. Like coconut husk, it improves aeration, drainage, and soil structure.

Cornstalk fiber can be used as a base layer in pots or blended into your soil mix. Trial mixes are underway, and we’re fine-tuning ratios to get the best performance for growers.

Liquid Fertilizer

Our Swine Liquid Manure is sourced from our hog barns and filtered for use in hydroponic systems, misters, or field injection. It delivers a consistent, ready-to-use nutrient solution that’s effective and easy to apply.

In addition, we utilize a centrifuge system to separate solids and concentrate nutrients, producing a high-nitrogen material as part of our ongoing process. Continued development is underway as we refine and expand these capabilities.

The earth provides everything soil needs to thrive naturally.

Commercial fertilizers often provide a temporary boost at the cost of long-term soil health. At Mid-MO Manure Co., we advocate for natural enrichment that restores the biological integrity of your land. Our products foster a complex ecosystem of beneficial microbes and organic matter, creating soil that is not only more productive but inherently resilient. By choosing natural fertilizers, you reduce reliance on synthetic chemicals and invest in the sustainable future of your crops and gardens.
